DIGITAL WORLD 2017 for Android

Digital World 2017 is the first-ever event of its kind to be held in Bangladesh. The event is being organized by the ICT Division of the Government of Bangladesh with the support of various government agencies. 

The theme of the event is “Ready for Tomorrow”. Bangladesh has been pursuing a technology-led Vision called Digital Bangladesh since 2010. In 2011, the country was at the forefront of the Internet revolution, known as the ‘Digital Bangladesh’. The Bangladesh government has since adopted a number of initiatives to encourage the adoption of technology in every sphere of life. The most notable of these is the ‘Digital Bangladesh’ policy, which was formulated to move the country towards a technology-led, consumer-focused economy.

This is being done through a series of policy initiatives. The most important of these is the ‘Digital Transformation’ policy. This policy is aimed at bringing about a revolutionary change in the country’s economy, which will be driven by a new wave of technological advancements, known as the ‘Fourth Industrial Revolution’ (4IR). The country is currently at the forefront of this transformation, with a number of new and emerging technologies being adopted. 

This event is being organized to provide a platform for discussion on these new technologies, their impact on the economy, and their impact on society. It is being held on 6-9 December 2017 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre.
